Job description

Job responsibilities

We have a vacancy for a Speciality Doctor in the Barnet Community Paediatrics teams based at Edgware Community Hospital.

The post is 10pas and will include a mixture of clinical work. We are anticipating a significant investment into our Neuro-developmental Diagnostic Pathway and the post holder will have a key role in shaping that together with the AHP pathway lead. We anticipate that the post holder will be involved in joint clinics with our CAMHS colleagues around complex presentations. Clinics will be: child development clinics, EHCP and Autism Diagnostic Clinics (ADOS)

Barnet Child Development team is an enthusiastic and innovative team looking at ways to redefine the way they work in a changing NHS climate, facing the challenges of providing the very best of clinical care in a community setting. The additional funding will provide us with an opportunity to reshape the way we work and together with our partners address some of the gaps in provision that currently exist.

This post is mainly based at Edgware Community hospital, but with occasional clinical commitments at other sites across Barnet.
