Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a ophthalmic technicians to work in the ophthalmic department at Barnet hospital eye clinic which is part of the Royal Free London ophthalmology service. We see patients with a number of ophthalmology conditions, including medical retina and glaucoma.

Working in a friendly modern environment you'll carry out Ophthalmic technical and imaging procedures including OCT, Visual fields, visual acuity assessment and intraocular pressure checks.

Previous experience in Ophthalmology would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.

In addition to the ophthalmology department at Barnet Hospital hospital, we also have ophthalmic clinics in other hospitals within the trust and you may be expected to work there if needed.
