We are delighted to advertise this exciting opportunity for a Surgical Appliances and Orthotics Manager covering Barnet and Chase Farm hospital sites. We are looking for someone who has management and leadership experience, and who also has clinical experience in supplying a fitting a range of off the shelf orthotics including surgical hosiery and breast prosthesis.

Our department is looking for someone who is able to lead change and who is dedicated to providing the best clinical care to our patientsto join our welcoming team. Previous experience working with Orthotics is essential for this role.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic individual to work within our busy service. You will be supported in this role by the Assistant operations manager and Outpatient Therapy Lead - working closely to develop and progress the Orthotics department.

This role will require the successful applicant to run the Orthotics department cross site between Barnet and Chase Farm hospitals as well as provide Orthotic clinics to our patients. This is a very diverse role which will require the ability to balance a variety of managerial tasks along with clinical responsibilities. You will have excellent communication skills, be adaptable to different environments and provide excellent leadership to our Orthotics team. Cross cover is essential and you will be required to travel to different sites.
