Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (Band 6)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to work within Community Neurological Conditions Management Team based at the Neurological Rehabilitation Centre, Edgeware Hospital.
You will be joining a team of speech and language therapist within the service and will be well supported with opportunities for peer support and access to joint working with clinical leads in the service and you will be offered opportunities for personal and professional development.
The Royal Free has excellent clinical outcomes and the therapies team has a strong commitment to interdisciplinary and evidence-based practise.

Main duties of the job
Working as a Speech and Language Therapist as part of the wider MDT within the Community Neurological Conditions Management Team, supporting clients with progressive and acquired neurological needs.
Completing home based assessments as well as seeing clients in out patient settings.
Demonstrate clinical expertise in the assessment, differential diagnosis, treatment and management of language, communication and swallow problems in adults with acquired disorders an d progressive neurological conditions, providing appropriate intervention and evaluating outcomes, within the community.

Experience
