Main duties of the job
We are looking for a band 6 MSK Physiotherapists to be part of the MSK Outpatient Physiotherapy service at the Royal Free Hospital site. The successful candidate will be expected to work at a specialised level of practice in the treatment of MSK conditions, with the majority of referrals seen being referred via Orthopaedics and Rheumatology. The main rotation is into the hand therapy service at the Royal Free Hospital. You will be supported by the whole team and have a Band 7 Physiotherapist supervisor.
The successful candidate is required to be able demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. In particular you should have proven experience of working in an MSK setting. We work closely with Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners in a range of specialties, the Orthopaedic and Rheumatology teams, as well as the Hand therapy and Pelvic health teams. We deliver a variety of group sessions, and we have our own aquatic therapy pool. We are lucky to be supported by a dedicated therapies education team and an AHP research and development team.
