Main duties of the job
On the Royal Free Hosptial Site we offer an exceptional range of local and specialist services, including oncology, plastic surgery, haematology, transplant, dialysis and infectious diseases, and have some of the best clinical outcomes in the country. We are a regional hub for kidney and liver diseases, vascular surgery and a major transplantation centre.
This is a rotational post which will include the following specialties:
- Cardiology
- Haematology
- Rheumatology
- Renal
Successful applicants will be allocated to 2 of the above specialities for 6 month placements over the course of the 12 month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension after initial 12 months. Allocation of specialty will be on based on preference of successful candidates and work schedule for the first 6 month placement will be confirmed at offer stage.
The successful applicant will participate in undergraduate and postgraduate training and education along with opportunities to collaborate in research and quality improvement projects. There will also be opportunities to take on leadership roles.
