Job summary

  • To lead, facilitate and be responsible for change management activities required to support the implementation of new systems/technologies and related processes associated primarily (but not exclusively) to clinical processes across the Royal Free
  • The post-holder will be an expert within their clinical domain and have an in- depth knowledge of clinical best practice and use this knowledge and experience within the change management
  • The post-holder will work with key stakeholder groups (clinical and non clinical) and facilitate contribution from staff across the Trust to develop business and process change and support new improved ways of working to deliver benefits

Main duties of the job

This is an exciting time to be working at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation one of the biggest NHS Trusts in the UK, delivering care to more than 1.6 million people a year through our three main hospitals: Barnet, Chase Farm and Royal Free.

We are looking for a new change lead to join our permanent Digital change and engagement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ongoing adoption and development of our patient solutions. The post holder will be expected to have a clinical background, or extensive experience working to support clinical teams; they will need to have an excellent knowledge of digital clinical solutions, ideally the Cerner Millennium.

The successful candidate is required to be able demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. In particular you should have proven experience of working with the EPR and the clinical teams to develop and optimise the content and functionality. You will be expected to be expert in process mapping and testing the EPR system alongside end users.
