Main duties of the job
Key priorities for successful candidate in the next 12 months are:
- Lead, along with the band 6 CPE, on an education strategy for the nursing team to meet the needs of the client group
- Support the delivery and organisation of all necessary training for all levels, by a multitude of mediums
- Ensure that all staff are compliant with their statutory and mandatory training
- Lead on the current Emergency Care level 7 accredited ED courses
- Support the senior nursing team and matrons
- Line manage the band 6 CPE's and support with their development.
The band 7 CPE will lead on an education strategy for the ED, UTC and Adult Assessment Unit nursing team and support the delivery and organisation of necessary training for all levels, by a multitude of mediums.
The band 7 CPE will be supported by 3 WTE band 6 CPEs
