This vacancy is looking for a full time candidate working 37.5 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
To provide professional and clinical input to the pharmaceutical services in all relevant areas of the pharmacy department on a rotational basis.
The successful candidate(s) must demonstrate the following:
- Enthusiastic/positive attitude with flexible approach to working
- Demonstrate the ability to meet the Trust values
- MPharm or equivalent
- GPhC (GB) registration
- Good general pharmaceutical knowledge relevant to their experience
- Comprehensive trainee year including experience of screening, dispensing, and checking prescriptions
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good clinical decision making and patient prioritisation skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Key duties of the role include:
- Provision of a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service for the Royal Free London hospital you are appointed to work at
- Provision of screening, dispensing, and checking services through the main or satellite dispensaries
- Provision of medicines advice to other healthcare professionals and patients
- Provision of a technical pharmacy service including final product release
Annual leave starts at 27 days a year plus bank holidays.
