Job summary
Applicants are invited for the position of Assistant Psychologist within the Department of Dermatology at the Royal Free Hospital. Multidisciplinary research and training programs serve to educate scientists and health professionals. Joint working accelerates the implementation of novel therapies as routine treatment.
This is a 24-month fixed term contract, funded by charitable funds. With training and under supervision from the research team, the post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day running of a research project investigating the efficacy of a walk and talk intervention on patients with psoriasis. This will involve study set-up and coordination, recruitment and consenting of participants, data collection and statistical analysis. The post will also include additional shared duties relating to the administration of the psychology service and the Department of Dermatology as a whole. The post is based at the Royal Free Hospital Hampstead.
