An exciting opportunity to undertake the role of head of quality governance at Chase Farm Hospital has arisen. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate candidate who strives for excellence.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for: developing, implementing and monitoring an effective and compliant system of working to ensure robust hospital quality governance; managing the governance staff dealing with all activities relating to patient safety, risk, compliance and audit; acting as a pre-emptive, self-relating practitioner who horizon scans to ensure the hospital/ divisional governance activities remain in line with current best practice; and developing a culture of informed questioning, challenge, trend analysis triangulation, and assurance.
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. You will need to be able to establish your credibility at all levels internally, and be able to quickly build relationships within your own team and the wider organisation.
