Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity at the Royal Free Hospital to recruit a clinical specialist Band 7 Occupational Therapist to become a part of our Renal Therapy Team for a 2 year fixed term contract.
Main duties of the job
The role is part of a new outpatient therapy team that will be responsible for outpatient and community clinics and interventions focussed on frailty management, supportive care and symptom management.
The successful candidate is required to be able to demonstrate the Trust Values and the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. The individual applying for this position should have experience and skills in integrated therapy working, be flexible and be able to work in an emerging role.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Occupational Therapist who is keen to develop their specialist clinical knowledge, management and service development skills.
The successful candidate should be forward thinking and pro-active with excellent organisational and clinical skills. Good communication skills and the ability to make autonomous decisions under pressure are also required. The successful applicant will be required to work 37.5 hours a week across multiple community sites.
The Therapy Department will support the successful applicant by means of regular supervision, appraisal and training.
