Band 8a Clinical Lead - Vascular Surgery and Amputee Therapy

Main duties of the job

This is an exciting time to be working at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation one of the biggest NHS Trusts in the UK, delivering care to more than 1.6 million people a year through our three main hospitals: Barnet, Chase Farm and Royal Free.

We arethe North Central Londonspecialist centre forvascular services and the service sits within the expanding Cardiovascular Divisional Directorate, which makes this an exciting opportunity for someone who has a passion for vascular and amputee therapy and rehabilitation. We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to continue leading this growing multi-disciplinary therapy service to ensure further ongoing development, in line with the Trust and Directorate vision and values.

You would assist with leading a team of occupational therapists, physiotherapists and therapy assistants. The role would be supported by the Therapies Inpatient and Outpatient Operational Leads and you will be working closely with the Inpatient Musculoskeletal Service Lead.

The successful candidate is required to be able to demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. In particular you should have proven experience of leading teams and be willing to work in new and innovative ways.
