Job summary
The post-holder will be an integral part of the research, insights and evaluation team at Thrive LDN with responsibilities including:
- Producing evidence briefings and deep dives
- Analysing data, developing conclusions and drawing recommendations
- Delivering and managing projects to an agreed timescale
- User testing and insights gathering
- Provision of strategic advice on managing stakeholders
- Forward planning and horizon scanning
The role will be a fast-paced and challenging one, working in a complex partnership across a wide variety of London health and care partners with a large number of external risks and influences. Working within a small team, will play a pivotal role in the Thrive LDN research, insights and evaluation team, which has a unique position in informing public mental health strategy for London.
The post-holder will be supported by Thrive LDN research, insights and evaluation team and other colleagues in their work.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will support across Thrive LDN's research, insights and evaluations team. For example, this may involve but not be limited to:
- Analysing data and presenting conclusions and key recommendations to system partners. This includes data from Thrive LDN's Real Time Surveillance System in London.
- Undertaking focus groups and insights gathering exercises to help test approaches and ideas in the Thrive LDN.
- Producing and updating evidence briefings and deep dives which summarise the known impact of a range of global, national and regional crises and adverse events on Londoner's mental health and wellbeing.
- Carrying out public mental health scenario planning exercises, synthesising available intelligence and anticipating what might be on the horizon.
- Leading and managing research projects in the Thrive LDN.
- Managing stakeholders and developing new partnerships in the Thrive LDN team.
- Undertaking other projects and tasks that may, from time to time, be necessary and compatible with the nature and grade of this post to support Thrive LDN's research and insights team.
Supporting and embedding a developmental evaluation approach across the team and wider with colleagues supporting public mental health.
