Dialysis & Outpatient Administrator to support NCL renal satellite units
Successful candidate is required to cover multiple sites.
Main duties of the job
Our department is looking for a new administrative member to join the team. The individual will be placed within one of our four off-site dialysis units.Our satellite locations are:Tottenham Hale (Base site), St Pancras Kidney & Diabetes Centre, Edgware and BarnetIf you are energetic, methodical, flexible, reliable, computer literate, proactive, able to cope with new challenging priorities and preferably with some NHS experience then we would like to hear from you.
- The dialysis units are open Monday to Saturday from 0700am - 0100am
- Admin working hours 0730am-2000 Monday to Friday / 37.5hrs (full time).

The Dialysis & Outpatient Administrator is responsible for providing a front-line reception service to the unit/centre and for delivering a high standard of customer care to a wide range of client groups, including the unit/centres multi-disciplinary team, patients, relatives and their carers.
The post-holder must play a proactive role in collecting, investigating, verifying and recording a high standard of patient demographic and treatment data. The post holder must accurately and in a timely manner enter such information on the computerised patient information system to ensure that the trust receives the appropriate level of income for patient activity, avoids the potential clinical risks inherent with inaccurate patient records and is compliant with national NHS targets (e.g. on data quality and length of patient wait).
