Job summary

Are you a people person who is looking for an exciting new opportunity? If so, we are looking for a part time Post Room Assistant to join our friendly and welcoming Post Room team at Broomfield Hospital.

The successful candidate will be part of an enthusiastic team providing a high-quality mail service. You will enjoy meeting new people, using your organisational skill and working in a fast-paced environment.

The shift pattern for this role will be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 08:30 - 12:30.

Main duties of the job

You will be working in a busy post room environment receiving, sorting and delivering mail whilst using your customer service skills to help colleagues and other service users.

You will get to use your communication skills to liaise with all levels of the organisation face to face, on the phone and in writing.

The role involves physical activity, delivering post to Wards and Departments across the Hospital.
