Job summary
Endoscopy Nurses - Join Our Expanding Elective Endoscopy Service
MSE is delighted to have secured funding for a brand-new Elective Endoscopy Hub at the Pitsea Community Diagnostic Centre. Positioned away from our busy acute sites, this purpose-built centre will offer protected elective capacity, enabling maximum productivity and delivering an enhanced, streamlined patient experience. Designed to meet JAG accreditation standards, the hub will feature state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, becoming the largest endoscopy unit in Essex.
The new centre will provide the majority of cancer, routine, and surveillance endoscopy activity across the system--including colonoscopy, gastroscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy--significantly improving access and quality for our patients.
While the Pitsea CDC is being developed, national programme funding has enabled the establishment of a two-room mobile endoscopy unit at Orsett Hospital, located just 15 minutes from the future permanent site.
This interim unit will support increased capacity and provide valuable experience for our growing team.
We are now recruiting Endoscopy Nurses to join us as we expand our service. If you are passionate about delivering safe, high-quality endoscopy care and are looking for your next career opportunity within a modern, forward-thinking service, we would love to hear from you.
Apply today and be part of shaping the future of endoscopy services in Essex.
