Job summary
We are looking for a Junior Clinical Fellow to join our team in the St Andrew's Centre - Regional Centre for Burns and Plastics.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skillset and knowledge working alongside specialists in the field and with world-class equipment across our three plastic surgery wards and one paediatric surgical ward, which is shared with other disciplines in Broomfield Hospital.

Main duties of the job
If successful, some of your duties will include:
- General ward work, operating theatre and outpatients clinics.
- Liaison with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, medical social workers, laboratory, X-Ray and photographic personnel.
- Responsibility for the admission and primary care of all patients under Plastic Surgery Consultants.
- Emergency admissions as they arrive when on call or on ward cover.
- The dispatch of notification of discharge to General Practitioners on the day of discharge.
- Active participation in meetings and teaching session.
