Your primary responsibility is the direct management of patient problems in collaboration and consultation with the Senior cardiothoracic and anaesthetic Team. The post holder will work as part of the cardiothoracic surgical team. this will include facilitating patient discharge and reducing length of stay by providing expert clinical advice and leadership in the cardiothoracic surgical setting.
You will initiate and participate in research/audit, development of policies and procedures, clinical supervision of junior multi-disciplinary team members, and specialist teaching within the department/location.
