Mid and South Essex Foundation Trust have an exciting opportunity within our Human Resources team! We are recruiting for HR Business Partner to join our Southend site on a permanent full time basis.
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) acts as an internal consultant delivering an enabling business support role , and providing strategic and operational knowledge on people related matters.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support and lead people initiatives across the whole business. From the initial concept to implementation and continual development, the HRBP will ensure that initiatives benefit both colleagues and services.
As well as being partner to the service, the post holder will work collaboratively with colleagues across the People and OD function and embrace a 'one team' ethos, continually supporting team development and challenging the status quo to ensure a consistent , value-adding HR provision to leaders and colleagues.

- Educated to Degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level qualification or significant experience of working at a similar level
- Member of the CIPD (or equivalent professional qualification) with a good understanding of statutory employment legislation and HR good practice
Desirable
- Chartered Member of the CIPD
- Additional HR associated qualification, Educated to Masters level
Knowledge and Experience

- Substantial experience of operating as an HR business partner in a challenging, multi-functional environment
- Knowledge across a wide range of HR topics, including Resourcing, Retention, OD and Employee Relations
- Experience of coordinating projects in complex and challenging environments
- High level project management skills, with an ability to work autonomously managing areas of work and projects to tight deadlines from initiation to completion
- Detailed knowledge of HR policies and procedures and an up-to-date knowledge of UK Employment law with the ability to interpret legislation and complex information and develop practical workable solutions
