Here at Mid and South Essex Foundation Trust we are excited to offer an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager - Capital Delivery (Construction) to join our team at Southend Hospital .
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the delivery of our capital construction programme.
You will lead the development of business cases and oversee the implementation of the extensive capital programme across Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust.
Main duties of the job
You will manage projects in a diverse capital programme as part of a multi-year portfolio of projects, with a value of c. £200m to £300m over the next five years. Projects range from minor works and backlog investment projects to major schemes of potentially £10m to £50m.
You will be part of a highly-skilled and motivated project delivery team (approx. 20 WTE and external project delivery specialists) across the MSB Hospitals group.
Ensure the delivery of capital investments to a consistently high standard, which ensures high quality and compliance and delivery to programme budget and time constraints.
Southend Capital Project team comprise of a Senior PM, PMs plus administration support.
You will be a key representative for Capital Project Team; engaging with wider stakeholders from other healthcare organisations and beyond, to develop and deliver joint estates-related initiatives in support of the transformation of healthcare across the Sustainability and Transformation Programme region.
