As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you'll deliver high-quality therapy interventions and contribute to service development and improvement. Main duties of the job
- Perform specialist physio-therapeutic assessment of patients with diverse neurological presentations to provide a therapeutic diagnosis and develop and deliver a specialised individual treatment programme.
- To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
- Participate in CPD and other departmental activities.
- Supervise staff within neurorehabilitation team.
- To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of your work, including managing patients in your care and working without direct supervision.
- Maintain respiratory competencies to facilitate participation in out of hours service as required
- To deputise for the Band 7 in their absence.
- Good time management, good organisational skills, a flexible approach, effective interpersonal skills, and problem-solving ability are required.
- Undertake evidence-based audit and research projects to further own and teams practice within the department.
- Work within Trust Guidelines and CSP Guidelines.
- To participate in the evening, weekend and statutory holiday on-call duties.
