Main duties of the job
Within in this role, you will:
To assist the Team Leader in the management of the specialty.
To deputise for delegated tasks as deemed appropriate by the Team Leader.
To ensure the efficient running of the speciality in the absence of the Team Leader.
To maintain high standards of clinical care, ensuring that all actions are carried out with full regard for the safety of patients and staff involved.
Undertake Floor Person / Theatre Co-Ordinator role as required.
To display strong professional leadership qualities.
Act as a mentor to students, including teaching and assessing within their realm of competence, upholding the philosophy of evidence-based practice.
