Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the Inpatient Pain Team at Basildon Trust. You will work collaboratively with the Nurse Consultant, lead nurse, Nurse specialists and Consultant Anesthetist to provide a Trust wide service to in-patients with acute and/or chronic pain.
We are a small friendly team who are able to offer a supportive work environment with great opportunities for professional development.
Main duties of the job
You must possess strong leadership and organisational skills to support the delivery of evidence-based pain management within the hospital. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team, is essential. You will have experience in efficiently and effectively managing a caseload of patients with complex health and social care needs.
