Job summary
This post is for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Emergency Medicine. This is a permanent post offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Medic to join a dynamic, rapidly expanding team delivering multidisciplinary acute care in Broomfield Hospital.
The culture and behaviours in ED are well known to be grounded firmly on the principle that the workforce is the single most valuable asset. The team approach is completely embedded in the department and all staff are wholly focused on providing a fast and effective patient service.

Main duties of the job
Contribute to the Emergency service at Broomfield Hospitalparticipating in the initial assessment, treatment, referral, and disposition of patients attending the Emergency Department.
Work a shift pattern including weekends and night shifts. Tailored job plan to personal needs can be discussed at the interview.
Develop skills in managing the department to avoid unnecessary patient waits and maintain good clinical care to all patients.
To participate in clinical audit and activities.
To participate in continuing professional development. Study leave is actively encouraged and there is significant financial support for appropriate courses.
