Job summary
We are currently hiring a Specialty Doctor to join our busy Basildon Radiology department
If successful, you will be joining busy departments that are continuing to go through a number of changes and developments for the future. You will also be required to join the team of existing Radiologists, with expertise in all modalities within general radiology. The department serves a large associated teaching hospital and sits within the wider MSE service.
Please note to be eligible for this post, you must have completed four-years full time post graduate training (or equivalent if part time) at least two-years of which shall be in a specialty training programme in the specialty or have the equivalent experience and competencies
Main duties of the job
Provide a general radiology service of the highest quality. This includes programmed activities for:-
CT, MRI and ultrasound including CT and ultrasound guided procedures, plain film reporting and screening
Undergraduate and Postgraduate Education Development of the service including participating in audit and research.
