Applicants are invited to apply for the opportunity of joining the team as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a special interest in oncology.
The successful applicant will be based at Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford but will be expected to work flexibly across MSE.
The Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department provides excellent care to all women within Mid-Essex area, and this includes the areas of Chelmsford, Witham, Braintree and Maldon.
You will support our oncology lead in managing either oncology cases or complex benign cases. Advanced minimal access surgical skills will be highly appreciate for this role. You will be working across the MSE sites to deliver service change and quality improvement.
Main duties of the job
This appointment is for a full-time Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in oncology. The successful candidate will be expected to cover labour ward on call during day time along with ante-natal and general gynaecology clinics, elective and emergency theatres.
The successful candidate will support our oncology lead in managing either oncology cases or complex benign cases. Advanced Minimal access surgical skills will be highly appreciated for this role.
