Patient Pathway Officer - Urology

Job summary

Our Basildon Urology Department has a wonderful opportunity for someone to join us as a Patient Pathway Officer.

You will be dealing directly with members of the public as well as hospital staff and will deal with highly sensitive and confidential patient information.

What do you need to have to apply? You need to be enthusiastic and capable, as this is a very fast paced and demanding service. You need to be very well organised, responsive and be able to work on own initiative. Experience in role where you have developed great keyboard skills and the ability to deal with admin.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective appointment scheduling service, including booking patient appointments, reviewing patient referrals and cancelling appointments, keeping up to date recorded information on the status of patients.

Working alongside the fabulous Nursing team at Basildon Hospital and joining our Urology admin team.
