Job summary
Are you an experienced and passionate theatre practitioner with a strong commitment to education, leadership, and excellence in patient care?
We have an exciting opportunity for you to take a key role in leading and coordinating our Practice Education Team within Main Theatres.
In this role, you'll oversee the training and development of all new starters, ensuring that every team member is fully supported to deliver safe, high-quality, and compassionate care. You'll bring strong clinical expertise, organisational skills, and inspirational leadership to enhance the performance and morale of our multidisciplinary team.
As a visible and proactive leader, you'll foster a positive learning culture, acting as a role model for teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement. You'll also play a vital role in the 24-hour operational management of Main Theatres, working closely with the Theatre Coordinator and Floor Consultants to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Your responsibilities will include managing staffing for theatre lists, addressing short-notice absences, and escalating concerns appropriately. You'll also help identify and implement innovative solutions to maintain service continuity and drive ongoing improvement across the department.
If you're ready to lead by example, inspire others, and make a real impact on both staff development and patient care -- we'd love to hear from you.
