Job summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Band 6 Dosimetrist to join our dynamic radiotherapy team.
The successful candidate will contribute to the planning and delivery of high-quality radiotherapy treatments, working closely with clinical oncologists, therapeutic radiographers, and medical physicists. You will be responsible for producing accurate and efficient treatment plans using advanced treatment planning systems, ensuring compliance with local protocols, national standards, and best practice guidelines.

Main duties of the job
If successful, some of your duties will be:
- To carry out radiotherapy treatment planning as part of a team in the Treatment Planning Service
- Liaise closely with a wide range of staff in Oncology and Radiotherapy, including medical staff, physicists, technicians and radiographers.
- Support developmental work within the department.
- To undertake work as part of project based teams to assist in the development of new techniques and processes.
