Specialist Radiographer - Interventional Radiology

Job summary

An opportunity has arisen within our small specialised team to join the IR service as a skilled and experienced radiographer. The successful candidate will be based in IR during normal working hours guiding and supporting the delivering of services on Broomfield site.

You will have a wide range of relevant experience and be dedicated to improving the service.

Main duties of the job

Manage staff and resources effectively to promote patient advocacy in all areas of fluoroscopy and interventional radiology from a range of referral sources.

Undertake clinical work establishing best standards of practice.

Oversee and organise the workload assisting the clinical lead and nursing team by demonstrating leadership and multi-disciplinary team working.

Being responsible for training, supervision, and monitoring of all staff in this modality alongside the senior members of the team.

Actively develop fluoroscopy and interventional radiology services.
