Are you a qualified Mechanical Technician with significant relevant practical and management experience? Join our Estates Engineering Team and play a pivotal role keeping our Trust's critical services running 24/7. You'll be managing Planned Preventative Maintenance, emergency breakdowns and installations across multiple sites covering the on call service on a rota basis

Main duties of the job
What You'll Do
- Operate on a day shift and on call rota you will be actively responding to breakdowns and job requests.
- Manage the team to provide Planned Preventative Maintenance and fault-finding on generators, fire alarms, lighting and power, distribution boards, boilers, air-handling units, chiller plant, medical gas systems, calorifiers and hot & cold-water networks
- Assess, diagnose and provide solutions to complex faults on Healthcare Building Services
- Evaluate and respond effectively to emergency situations, prioritising safety for patients, staff and the public
- Conduct and document your own risk assessments for medium and high-risk tasks
- Ensure strict compliance with Trust policies, statutory standards and health & safety legislation
- Liaise with the Senior Management team in response to emergency situations including Estates participation in the Trust's Major Incident and Business Continuity Plan
