Pharmacy Senior Assistant Technical Officer

Job summary

Are you looking for a new challenge within the pharmacy department? Do you want to make a difference to patient care within a hospital setting

The post holder will actively participate in the delivery of Pharmacy services across a range of specialties

The right applicants will be dedicated, hard working individuals that work well in a team environment as well as under own initiative. Attention to detail and organisational skills are essential.

Main duties of the job

To support services within the pharmacy department including the Dispensary, Procurement, Oncology, Trials and HomecareTo work as part of the near patient dispensing team supplying medication to patients both during their stay and at point of discharge on the wardTo provide advice to patients regarding their medication once fully trained

Previous pharmacy experience would be of benefit, however we welcome applications from those with no previous experience as full training will be given.
