Job summary
We are looking for a dynamic experienced Research Approvals Manager to deliver our vision for consistent and high quality research governance at one of the largest Trusts in the country, serving over a million patients.
The role of the Research Approvals Manager is to develop, coordinate and administer a robust system to assess proposed clinical research projects and provide assurance on their suitability for the sites across MSEFT.
Main duties of the job
Working as part of a team of Research Approvals Managers, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring all research studies, within a defined portfolio of clinical specialties and disease areas, are assessed by the necessary departments, and make arrangements that ensure studies initiated across MSEFT are feasible, can be delivered to time and target, and are strategically and financially supported. The post holder is also responsible for coordinating the approval and implementation of all amendments and the issuing of appropriate letters or access, honorary contracts or research passports
