Job summary
Reporting to the Test Team Manager the Test Analyst will be required to work with development teams, project managers, end users and other groups to ensure some or all criteria of testing are fulfilled.
The Test Analyst is responsible for gathering of requirements, generation of test scripts and test plans, integration with software components and feedback to both the test process and other teams. The ability to maintain rigorous compliance with project deliverables and industry standards.
To plan and organise User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
The ability to show tact and empathy to Trust staff facing difficult situations is required.
The incumbent individual must possess a sound understanding of Digital terminology and Digital service disciplines and endeavour to keep abreast of digital developments which might affect service delivery.

The new system will be delivered through the Nova Programme, alongside our commercial partners for this significant transformative journey.

Qualifications
Essential
- Relevant degree or significant experience in understanding of defect & testing tools
- Good knowledge of an ERP system.
- Managing and executing non-functional tests such as load testing.
Desirable
- Certification in software testing
- Prince2 Practitioner or equivalent
Knowledge
Essential
- Relevant experience in a similar system management role with regard to
- Some test management background within a fast-paced business with experience using multiple testing technologies.
Desirable
- Working in NHS
- Working within the constraints of the Data Protection Act
