Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 5 and / or Band 6 Radiographers to join our existing team as bank staff to support us whilst some of our team are on maternity leave, here at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust providing services 24/7.
You will be based at Southend on Sea. The role requires rotation through different areas of the department including A&E, Theatres, Mobile and General x-ray.
Please note that this is a Fixed Term Contract from September 2025 ending August 2026.
Main duties of the job
As a Band 5/6 radiographer, you will work independently, as part of a team, and be expected to take a supervisory role leading a small group. Band 6 radiographers act as mentors for junior staff and are also required to supervise and assess undergraduate students.
