The candidate will work as part of the multidisciplinary team always ensuring the delivery of a high standard of care to the patients and act as positive role model.
The candidate will always adhere to the NMC code of Professional Conduct and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
The post holder is expected to work within Ophthalmology MSE across the three sites. Driving is essential to this post.
Main duties of the job
Within your role, you will be expected to:
Act at all times in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
To maintain professional and personal development in accordance with PREPP requirements through the PRIDE framework, annual appraisal, personal development plans, portfolio development and reflective writing skills.
Ensure all nursing records are completed in accordance with Mid & South Essex Hospital policies and NMC standards for records and record keeping.
To participate in the new practice and service redesign solutions in response to feedback, evaluation and need, working across boundaries and broadening sphere of influence
Take all possible precautions to safeguard the welfare and safety of staff, service users, visitors and the public, by implementing all policies related to health, safety, security and risk
