Job summary
The postholder will work in conjunction with the Clinical Lead EPMA, EPR and Digital Systems, Chief Pharmacy Information Officer and Nova EPR Project Manager in the planning, development, implementation and optimisation of Oracle Health electronic prescribing within MSEFT and EPUT.
They will lead on the technical and operational aspects of the implementation of new digital medicines' initiatives and oversee the development, validation, and maintenance of wider pharmacy digital systems operated across MSEFT and EPUT.
Main duties of the job

Manages all pharmacy technical staff at MSEFT and EPUT employed to support the implementation of the Nova EPR solution.
Leads on business continuity and ensuring departmental risks are appropriately managed and incidents are investigated in a timely and thorough manner.
As a member of the pharmacy digital team, will provide assurance of the use of electronic medicines management systems across the Trust, working with the Trust's Chief Pharmacy Information Office (CPIO), Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO) and Chief Nursing Information Officer (CNIO). They will ensure patient safety, security of access, system availability and that data accuracy is delivered by the system(s) and meets the requirements of the Trust, it's patients and clinical staff.
