Job summary
Our Outpatient Department facilitates & supports a wide range of specialist clinics and nurse led clinics, both face to face and remote is looking for Staff/Dental Nurses to join its friendly, supportive team offer an opportunity to work within a varied area covering many specialities.
You will participate in the day-to-day running of the department, providing support to all of its services following induction & ongoing support and will be expected to develop and maintain good and organisational skills, whilst acting as a positive role model and provide an environment conducive to the support of Healthcare Support Workers and Associate Nursing Practitioner staff whilst enhancing the patient's journey & experience. To be eligable for this role you must maintain an active nursing and midwifery council (NMC) registration.

Main duties of the job
As part of the Outpatient team you will focused on patient care, at all times aiming for good patient experience, to provide a high standard of care to patients, whilst maintaining at all times their privacy and dignity, to assess care needs, develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care and to contribute to supporting the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse
You will support the maintenance of high standards of cleanliness in their own clinical area, actively promoting and maintaining self-development and contributing to the support the Charge Nurse to maintain/improve and develop high standards of patient care, and thereby ensuring that the patients are treated with privacy, dignity and respect.
You must be able to work across both of our Basildon and Orsett sites.
