Job summary
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic person to join or exceptional stroke team at Southend hospital.
Your role as our Stroke Data Administrator is to be responsible for the provision of comprehensive, efficient, and effective data management for the Acute Clinical Stroke Service; enabling the delivery of a high-quality service to patients and allowing medical and nursing staff to focus on direct patient care.
Main duties of the job
In this interesting and varied role you will gain an in-depth knowledge of the stroke database- Sentinel Stroke National Auditing Programme (SSNAP) and will be required to extract and input data from the patient's medical notes/care pathway onto the stroke database.
Additionally, you will provide data as requested, under the supervision of the Clinical Stroke Specialist Nurse and liaise with all members of the multi-disciplinary team.
Providing an efficient and effective administrative service, you will be required to work as part of a team, with a flexible and professional attitude to work and provide cross cover during periods of absence.
In your role will be work closely with the department's secretaries, clinical leads, clinical personnel, stroke support personnel, SSNAP representatives and other clerical staff to provide a flexible and reliable administration service to the Stroke team.
