Job summary

The Medical eRostering Lead is primarily responsible for planning and delivering the implementation and the ongoing utilisation and maintenance of the rostering system for the Trust's Medical Workforce.

Reporting to the eRostering Team Manager; you will be responsible for leading a small team on the delivery of the eRostering system; driving the benefits and ensuring that the system is used to its full potential; which includes the systematic review of deployment aligned to establishment control.

You will ensure the provision of a high quality, timely and cost-effective roster system and associated support function for operational colleagues and medical staff colleagues, which meets the needs of the Trust and contributes to the overall organisational workforce planning and financial management.

This role may close early due to the number of applications.

Main duties of the job

The Medical eRostering Lead is a senior role and will be expected to work across multiple departments as the work is fundamental to improving medical workforce efficiency, patient care and operational effectiveness.

You will work closely and ensure engagement with clinical leads and directors, senior and operational managers, Rota co-ordinators and the finance team as well as the external software supplier to complete the Trust wide medical rostering rollout

In this role you will lead on project planning for system developments ensuring that milestones are met within set deadlines and key stakeholders are engaged.
