You will provide an efficient and effective reception and administrative support service within the Medical Specialties Division. You will be required to work as part of a team and have a flexible and professional attitude to work. You will work closely with the departmental secretaries and clerical staff to provide an excellent service to all specialties and teams within the Medical Specialties Division

Main duties of the job
- To provide an efficient reception and administrative support across Medical Specialties services
- Use Hospital systems to book patients into clinics and record their outcomes when they have been seen
- To identify missing outcomes, adding them to Careflow as required to meet KPIs for the Division and escalation to Clinicians where required
- Manage emails and correspondence from team inboxes
- Cover all patient related administration duties using the electronic referral system, ensuring they are processed in a timely manner and in line with current local and national targets
- Support for neurophysiology office with patient bookings and sending reports
- Closing the reception desk at the end of the day, locking away confidential information, and ensuring waiting area is left tidy
- Providing administrative support for our secretarial teams, e.g., scanning, sending correspondence, test results and enveloping etc., to meet Trust timescales
