Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Critical Care Nurse, who is passionate about educating and inspiring current and future nursing staff, to join us our new Education Lead.
As our Critical Care Nursing Education Lead, you will provide visible professional leadership and line management to the Education team in the MSE Adult Critical Care areas and inspirational leadership to all members of the multi-disciplinary team in relation to education and training in the directorate.

Main duties of the job
- Be a champion creating a culture of learning and quality improvement in the clinical area.
- To have responsibility for compliance with Education KPI's in the Critical Care units (including but not exhaustive) eLearning, induction, appraisal and ANTT.
- Lead the Critical Care education team to support and promote effective multi-disciplinary team education opportunities through academic and experiential learning.
- To be accountable for own practice in line with the NMC code of professional conduct and take every reasonable opportunity to sustain and improve own knowledge and professional competence.
- Deputise for Head of Nursing / Matron if required.
- Critically reflects on own performance through peer/ team network an clinical supervision.
- Maintain registration with professional regulatory bodies, in order to keep up to date with developments within the profession.
