Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our Administration team as a Booking Clerk!

In the role, you will be expected:

To offer a high standard of administration support to appointment management for the MSE Radiology Department as directed.

To support the service in providing high quality administrative duties

To work as part of the administration team providing cross-cover to colleagues as required in times of peak demands and staff absence.

Main duties of the job

Liaise directly with patients regarding imaging appointments both verbally and in written format.

Respond to patient / carer enquiries regarding allocated appointment or attendance on site; providing information as required, resolving straight-forward queries in line with departmental protocols.

Liaise with Radiology clinical and administration staff in line with protocols regarding attendance and non-attendance to planned appointments.
