An opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse to work as part of a team on Marjory Warren Ward - Palliative care ward at Basildon Hospital.

Main duties of the job

Direct, supervise and monitor the provision of nursing care in accordance with individual care plans, maintaining high standards of patient care.

Assisting with budgetary control at ward level.

Plan and implement ward-based teaching programmer assessing the training needs of ward staff.

Assist the ward Manager in the development of the Palliative Care Ward and continuous development plan.
