We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Staff Nurse. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.
If you thrive in a busy environment and want to be part of friendly and committed team you must be prepared to work under pressure as day surgery is a challenging but extemely rewarding service.
You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week and will follow a shift pattern between the hours of 07.30am and 10.00pm Monday to Friday. Day Surgery does not currently provide a weekend service but this may change in the future.

Main duties of the job
Clinical Excellence:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings in accordance with Trust policies.
- Formulate evidence-based care plans and ensure their delivery at the highest standard.
- Continuously evaluate and adjust care plans based on patient needs.
- Champion infection control practices and adhere to medication administration guidelines
Policy Adherence and Service Development:
- Adhere to national and local policies and engage in change management processes.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of ward policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with adherence to NMC code of Professional Conduct.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, adhering to local policies and procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring role is preferred.
