Job summary
We are seeking a Security & Car Parking Manager to join our team based at our Basildon Site.
As a Security and Car Parking Manager you will be responsible for the Management and operational supervision of to the security and car parking teams serving all Trust buildings and car park areas within Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust.
- Have an operational oversight of sites under direct responsibility
- Assist the Head of Security with service improvements and delivery of an effective and efficient service across the Trust.
- Protect the wellbeing of all persons on site, protect property and premises, prevent crime and loss and take actions in accordance with Trust policies, procedures and training.
Main duties of the job
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of all directly employed security /car parking staff including bank and agency employees for the site of responsibility and other sites if requested by the Head of Security.
- To manage all aspects of work to include staff training updates, rota, annual appraisals and absence management.
- Manage onsite parking in accordance with the Trust's Parking Policy, ensuring that payment systems are maintained in good working order and access to the site is properly maintained at all times.
- Manage the security and car park patrol systems ensuring reports are provided daily to include cash handling.
- Develop and maintain a sound working relationship with wards, departments and other stakeholders.
- Produce complex reports.
