Job summary

As a member of the sustainability team at MSE FT and working with the wider regional net zero team, you will support the delivery of both the Trust and ICS wide Green Plans.

An experienced specialist of programme delivery and monitoring, evaluation and learning across complex projects in sustainability and the health sector is essential.

Working closely with colleagues across Mid and South Essex FT, ICS and NHS England, the health sector, and other stakeholders, the focus of the role will be involved in driving forward specific Greener NHS projects.

Main duties of the job

Manage delivery of the Green plan.

Provide evidence of delivery through updating the dashboard.

Manage the sustainability team.

Ensure the work of the team is effectively communicated through out the Trust and wider ICS.

Ensure the Trust sustainability steering group is properly managed, with regular speakers attending.

Grow the relationship between the Trust and the wider ICS.

Ensure relevant initiatives are identified to deliver on the Green Plan and they are costed within the sustainability budget.
