We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills who is dedicated to working as part of the team.

To deliver a seamless and effective service providing temporary staffing cover to all areas of the Trust. To progress complex temporary staffing bookings for all staff groups working with colleagues in the Temporary Staffing Booking Team to ensure additional staffing requirements are met primarily through bank staff and then referring to approved agencies as per Trust policies.

Main duties of the job

This role is responsible for supporting and collaborating with Managers across the Group with Temporary Staffing requirements. This will be through providing an effective, efficient and customer focused service which meets the changing needs of the Trust services and clinical areas.

Your duties will include:

  • Administering and maintaining effective professional working relationships with colleague
  • To use bank booking systems optimally to maximise efficiency and increase bank fill rate and to deal with and action all telephone inquiries as appropriate.
  • To work in collaboration with the wider HR Team, Recruitment, Medical Workforce and HR Business Partners
  • Staff Bank Systems need to be regularly updated in order to check / update Staff Bank personnel data
  • Monitor agency charge rates to provide audit of correct MSE Authorisation process.
  • Day to day supervision of nominated administrative staff as well as supporting the Temporary Staffing Managers

Candidates will be flexible and able to work on a shift basis between 06.30 and 20.30 Monday to Sunday (maximum of 5 X 7.5 hour shifts pw). Therefore you will need to be available for all/any shifts within these times with prior notice.
