Job summary

We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills who is dedicated to working as part of the team.

Then our Security and Car Parking Team want to hear from you.

You will work with a friendly and professional team, where a good work ethic and a positive attitude is valued. Helping us continue to provide a high standard of customer service, response to incidents and general security and car parking duties.

Main duties of the job

The Security/Parking Team provide a comprehensive car park and security service to the main hospital site - Basildon and satellite sites such as Orsett in all weather and conditions.

In this front line service, you will need to be polite, helpful, tactful but firm and have the ability to remain calm under pressure.

If successful, you will have a great deal of contact with staff, visitors and members of the public, directing drivers to car parking spaces, clearing entrances for fire calls, responding to all security issues and answering general enquiries from our patients and visitors, so good communication skills and a flexible approach are essential.
